Dr. Fred Grynberg

South Florida Integrative Health Center is collaborating with leading expert Pulmonologist, Dr. Fred Grynberg, MD as the certifying medical cannabis physician. With over 30 years of experience, he has a dual specialization in Pulmonary Medicine and Internal Medicine. This unique opportunity allows patients to utilize sleep studies and pulmonary function testing as part of a complete holistic program. He specializes in treating patients with chronic lung conditions such as COPD, emphysema, asthma and sleep apnea. Through testing, he can monitor safe marijuana usage. For users of medical cannabis concerned about lung function after using cannabis over the years, we finally have the ultimate solution for the safest and most effective use of medical cannabis.  Dr. Grynberg’s medical recommendation of medical marijuana is based on at least one qualifying condition.

Obtaining a Medical Marijuana Card Approval Process

There are many medical marijuana dispensaries in South Florida who obtain quality medical cannabis from growers who ensure optimal quality control.

Once approved by Dr. Grynberg, you will be entered into the Medical Marijuana Use Registry.

Once you have completed your appointment, you will complete the MMUR application. We will help you complete this. Once finished, the application will be processed by the state.

Seasonal residents may have to wait up to 10 days for approval. Residents with a Florida’s driver’s license will obtain approval that day.

Once the process is complete, the state will send an email of approval.

*You must bring your driver’s license and proof of qualifying medical condition to your appointment.
• Permanent Florida residents must have a valid Florida driver’s license with photo ID.
• Seasonal residents, defined as residents who live in Florida for more than 31 days, must provide two different forms of documentation with your permanent address.

*If you are already diagnosed with a qualifying condition.
• You are expected to bring medical records showing diagnosis, otherwise, mmj certification will be denied.

• If you are a transfer patient, you must deactivate your current provider before the appointment. The instructions can be found below.
